Originally an Irish delicacy , this desert made its way half way around the world to the outback of Australia!

Special Cakes for Special Occasions

Combining the usual baking ingredients with raisins, (hence the name), it is mixed in an iron pot and placed over a fire in a pit dug in the ground,  and slowly cooked to perfection!
The perfect end to a hard day in the bush!
What a treat!
